Compare the model identifier and selected option on your confirmation with the labels on the delivered packaging. Make a short receiving record

• Record the order number, model and quantity received.
• Photograph packaging damage and affected parts before assembly.
• Check that the instruction sheet corresponds to the model, not simply a similar-looking chair.

Do not drill new holes, substitute bolts or force misaligned connections to make a part fit.

Separate assembled dimensions from package dimensions

The listed assembled Tomtyn dimensions are 20 inches wide, 24 inches deep and 40 inches high, with a 19-inch seat height. These are not carton measurements. The overall depth is not the usable seat depth, and overall height includes the back. If delivery access is tight, obtain actual packaged dimensions before assuming the assembled measurements prove it will fit through a doorway.

Check the finished chair before everyday use

Complete the manual's final checks, then place the chair on the intended floor and inspect the contact points and joints. Stop using a chair with damage or unresolved movement.
